Educational philosophy

We work with advisers and listen to their needs in order to offer a service which is aligned with their business requirements. We have built an educational foundation for the adviser community which aims to provide a high level of information and analysis about products and their performance. We aim to be the first point of call for financial advisers who are looking to increase their knowledge of structured products, our website is built as an online training tool rather than a promotional site. Advisers can utilise this resource including online webcasts and webinars to build a strong knowledge base before recommending products to their clients. We have been recognised and rewarded for our achievements in the industry winning the Professional Adviser Protected Product Review Award for Best Marketing Material 2009.

Cutting edge research

Our in house research team develops comprehensive analytical studies which explain how capital protection barriers work and the effectiveness of different barrier levels in structured products across a range of indices. We also provide an indication of the simulated past performance of the capital protection barrier and product performance in our literature for each product we issue. They are invaluable to financial advisers as they help in building an in-depth understanding and knowledge base. And they show that structured products make it possible to gain exposure to different asset classes and at the same time manage risk within an investment portfolio.

Asset diversification

Investor sentiment has been improving as evidenced by the very high levels of private investor activity in the equity market*. This has been reflected in a growing demand for structures based on assets other than the FTSE 100 index and for growth based returns.
